HCAP: Health Care Assistant Program

Resources and Tools for the HCAP Program

Databases

Library Databases are organized collections of articles, e-books, and other digital resources. Databases allow you to search through thousands of publications at the same time using key words based on your topic.

Why should you use library databases?

1. Most of the articles have been edited and reviewed.

2. Almost everything is acceptable for your research at CNC.

3. Faster searching AND results is more trustworthy than most information found on the Internet.

4. Articles are from databases paid for by your tuition and unlike many scholarly resources found on the Internet.  Never pay for articles—come to the library and ask for help, or request the Article through Inter-library Loan and we will get it and email it to you.
